Access control via badge is a common and reliable method also used by the IntellyScan solution to manage entry and exit from buildings, areas or specific resources and this system is based on the use of cards that are assigned to users registered in the system and authorized to allow them access to certain places or services.

The access badges used are equipped with technologies such as RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) or NFC (Near Field Communication) and allow wireless communication between a badge and a tablet equipped with a badge reader and the IntellyTablet application for reading cards. information stored on the badge and the control of access authorizations based on the access privileges associated with the user using that particular badge.

Using badges for access control offers numerous advantages because it simplifies the access management process, eliminating the need to use physical keys and allows for more accurate monitoring of people entering and exiting a specific area, providing detailed information on the accesses made.
